Buffalo City Living REALTORS® are seeking to hire licensed real estate salespersons and associate brokers. We have a few 1099 (Independent Contractor) positions available with an aggressive commission split structure and virtually unlimited growth potential. We also welcome newly licensed agents with a robust training program that assigns an experienced senior staff member to act as your personal mentor. 1099 Agent Commission Split Structure (as of 2022):
- NY Licensed Real Estate Salespersons and Associate Brokers – 70% of GCI/sides (Gross Commission Income divided by Transaction Sides)
- Referring Agents – earn 70% of referral commission paid to Buffalo City Living, LLC under a referral agreement with an outside receiving Broker
- Recruiting Agents – earn 5% of your recruit’s GCI/sides as long as you and your recruit(s) are actively licensed with Buffalo City Living, LLC
Annual Income Example (*based on “performing” agents selling two-to-four $150,000 properties per month):
- Salesperson or Associate Broker @ 70% of GCI = $75,600 to $151,200 per year*
- Salesperson or Associate Broker who has recruited one additional “performing” agent = $79,380 to $158,760 per year*
