Christopher Mekker is the CEO & Managing Member of Buffalo City Living, LLC, and Licensed Real Estate Broker of Record for our subsidiary, “BFLO Realty.” He is also an active Professional Standards Committeeman at the Buffalo-Niagara Association of Realtors®. As a Western New York native and a graduate of the Nichols School in North Buffalo, Christopher is also the 4th generation of the Mekker family to own and manage rental property in Western New York.

As a real estate investor, Christopher has routinely secured capitalization rates in excess of 10% and vacancy rates below 5%. His experience in the field of real estate investing and property management is comprehensive. Throughout his real estate career, Christopher Mekker has earned recognition from Buffalo Business First as one of the “Top Real Estate Agents in Western NY” and also from Expertise.com as one of the “Best Real Estate Agents in Buffalo.” As a REALTOR®, he has earned awards from Keller Williams Realty for “Top Listing Agent,” “Top Closing Agent,” and “Agent of the Month.” He was also featured by Buffalo Spree Magazine in the December 2018 Faces of home article, “Christopher Mekker Sells the City.”

In his leisure time, Christopher enjoys playing music, spending time with his family, camping/hiking and playing in recreational sports leagues. He is also a NY State Certified Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (“AEMT”) and Volunteer Firefighter in Buffalo’s largest neighboring town of Amherst, NY.
